He's bowled over

A BOWLER from Farningham was bowled over when he got the opportunity to play against a former England champion.
Peter Haden-Scott, 70, of High Street, put up a sturdy stand on the green against champ Andy Thompson when he visited the Sevenoaks Indoor Bowls Centre.
And although he was unable to defeat the champion who has a string of titles and prizes to his name, he picked up a few useful tips for his game.
Anyone wishing to have a go at bowling, should call the centre on 01732 451889.
