A STAR of the Harry Potter movies had a magical reunion with an old friend in York.

Matthew Lewis, who plays Harry Potter’s classmate Neville Longbottom in the hugely successful film franchise about the boy wizard, was at the National Railway Museum to meet up with another star of the franchise – Olton Hall, the locomotive used in the series.

Olton Hall is currently on display in the museum’s South Yard, and is pulling steam rides every Sunday for the rest of the month.

Matthew, who lives in Leeds, was taking the chance to meet up with an old pal, and to check out the museum’s free activities for children over the summer holidays, including the magical science shows in the new Learning Platform.
