EVIL takes many forms - but few are quite as poisonous as Heather Mook. This is a woman who laced her husband John's spaghetti Bolognese with poison to hide the fact she had conned his elderly mother out of her savings.

Worse still, a quarter of a century earlier she had poisoned her own six-year-old daughter by sprinkling antidepressants on her food.

She tried to harm those who loved and trusted her most - and she did it for personal gain.

Describing her as "a very dangerous woman", a judge at York Crown Court sentenced her to an indefinite prison sentence.

Potentially she could be behind bars for life.

We hope it is a very long time indeed before she is seen among us again.
