They turned out immaculately with their proud array of decorations, flags and service bands as they paraded, prayed and renewed contact with old comrades alongside world leaders and French villagers to honour the men who fell beside them to win back lost freedom for Europe.

Our choices are between party people. They may inspire other party members but would not survive in the majority world with their lack of vision and drive for common progress and high goals with strict standards. They thrive on conflict and opposition.

It will not happen with due process.It is out of their hands now and will happen in its own way and time. It has a long way to go and a lot to put right, in due course. The elections are only a start.

They are all complicit in the disgraceful way our public funds have been systematically syphoned off for indiscriminate personal uses, by MPs over such a long period of time.

Those who aren’t actually ripping us off have covered up for those who are. The speaker of the Commons, there to maintain high standards, wanted to resign because of his own interpretation of the toothless rules they fashioned for themselves and was persuaded not to. We now see why !

Before the last war, where we live now was a private airfield and when it was taken over as a place where damaged bombers could be brought in for repair, the hangers were part of the RAF station for that purpose
