Monkey Music hits the right notes

Comments (0)A PRE-SCHOOL music group has been named as winner of the Best Toddler Development Class at an awards ceremony.
The What's On 4 Little Ones Awards 2008 celebrate the best pre-school activities across the UK, as voted for by parents.
This year the awards covered 20 categories ranging from Best Antenatal Class to Best Messy Play Class.
Monkey Music introduces music to very young children. Children attend classes accompanied by their carers and are grouped according to age, developing their musical and social skills as they grow.
Louise Brown, from Monkey Music York and Beverley, said: "I'm delighted that Monkey Music has achieved the recognition we richly deserve.
"Everybody involved with Monkey Music is fully committed to the core educational values behind its playful persona, and works very hard to ensure that the children continue to flourish both musically and socially, as well as have huge amounts of fun."
