TINA Platt produced a 109 checkout as York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League division one champions Cueball ‘B’ beat Slipper 9-2.

Doreen Johnstone and Anita Adams gave Slipper the ideal start, but the champions polished off the remaining games, with top scoring from Jayne Janes, Bev Harton and Angie Hields.

Jo Hodges (24-dart leg) inspired runners-up Clifton as they ran out 7-2 victors at Ox, whose Maggie Tottie was involved in both their points.

Slip ‘B’ Roz Kerr, who has gone through the season unbeaten, included a maximum in a 19-dart leg as her side beat Beeswing 6-3.

Slip ‘A’ had victory sewn up early, reeling off the first five legs against Woolpack. Helen Lomas sealed the win.

Toni Smallwood hit the tons as Burnholme beat Tiger.

Acomb ran out 6-3 victors against Winning Post to snatch first place in division two by one point for Mitre.

The runners-up were taken to the wire at Severus before Emily Pye and Jane Barnes secured the win. Mitre’s Mae Woodcock hit the tons.

Burton WMC finished one point behind Mitre as Shepherd ‘A’ found them too hot to handle.

Cueball ‘A’ were short of players, but they took Tramways to the wire.

Jenny George hit a maximum for Seahorse but they fell to Sun, whose Christine Turgoose and Dorothy Barker secured victory.

Ian Wrigglesworth and Pam Luck were Shoulder’s match winners against Flag ‘B’.

Tap had points in hand on their nearest rivals at the pinnacle of division three and it was a good job as they completed a hat-trick of losses.

Leeman ‘A’s final pairing captain Peggy Rose and Margaret Yeomans secured victory over Tap.

Shepherd ‘B’ were runners-up after a fine performance at St Paul’s Lodge (Volunteer), winning all the pairs for a 6-3 result.

Jubilee’s Angela Lancaster closed on bull in the final pairs with captain Heather Bulmer to secure victory at Hussars.

Dee Pearson and Julie Huckle snatched Beagle match points against Locomotive, whose Carol Price won a lone-handed pairs.

Marcia cleaned up in the pairs to win 5-3 against visitors Leeman ‘B’. Both teams were a player light.
