FORMER York City defender Jon Maloney has secured a trial with Harrogate Town.
Maloney, who scored four goals in 13 league appearances for the Minstermen in the 2004/5 campaign, has been converted into a striker after four years playing college football in America.
The Wetherby-based 24-year-old will play for Blue Square North outfit Harrogate at neighbours Harrogate Railway in a friendly on Saturday, July 18. Maloney is currently training at former club Doncaster, where he intends to complete his pre-season preparation.
